
St. Paul University Potential Partnership
Meeting with St. Paul university for a Potential Partnership and Site Visit to Barangay Kamuning Projects. Barangay Kamuning warmly welcomed representatives from St. Paul University for an exploratory meeting on a potential partnership focused on community development and values-based initiatives.
Present during the meeting were key representatives from St. Paul University:
- Sr. Shiela Frances Felipe, SPC, Vice President for the Christian Formation Program
- Sr. Marivic Bughaw, SPC, Head of the Community Development Advocacy Center (CDAC)
- James Czar Cervo, Basic Education Department (BED) / CDAC
- Ms. Mabel Andrade, Religious Education Instructor
- Dr. Pines Paulino, CBT/CCD Director
- Mr. Ding Andrade and COS Lando Calimlim, board member of KLK were also present.
Representing Barangay Kamuning is Punong Barangay Armida F. Castel.
The meeting aimed to explore possibilities for collaboration between St. Paul University and Barangay Kamuning in promoting community outreach, values education, and sustainable programs for the residents. Discussions were productive and filled with a shared commitment to serve and uplift the community.
As part of the visit, the group also toured two of Barangay Kamuning’s flagship projects:
- The Barangay Urban Farming Project, managed by the PWD community ; and
- The ECO-Tindahan, a Solid Waste Management initiative where residents can exchange recyclable materials for basic goods — a project that promotes environmental consciousness.
The visit showcased the barangay’s best practices and opened exciting opportunities for future partnerships that align with the mission of both institutions. Thank you for partnering with us. We look forward to a meaningful and fruitful collaboration.
